Spin Cycle

The short pitch for Spin Cycle is that it is a game in which you literally run another game through the laundry. If you have laundry to do, are looking for a weird game to play, and like making ultimately inconsequential mistakes, Spin Cycle may be the game for you! Ruin a game you love and see if it gives you something new in return. Remember: a washing machine is just a soggy randomizer. 

The long pitch is a story. At one time, I was carrying around copies of several of Jeeyon Shim's games, including Your Dead Friend in a jacket pocket.  When I opened the washing machine, I was dismayed to find the tattered remains of the game stuck to every article of clothing in the machine and furious with myself for being so careless. But then, miraculously, I began finding intact words among the carnage. First "breathe." Then, "friendship," "what is important," and, finally, "goodbye." Spin Cycle as a game is a retelling of this experience.

If you choose to actually play Spin Cycle (not recommended), please keep in mind that I wrote it based on a singular experience with one washing machine and can not guarantee any part of the results is repeatable.
